Went there for the first time tonight, service was great, they were very nice. YUMMY mango margarita, carne asada fries... delicious! Oddly enough, the carne asada itself was a little bland for me, I had carne asada tacos and honestly couldn't really even finish them :( my husband had carnitas tacos, they were OK... but the service was wonderful, no complaints about that... and that's important!

I LOVE their food! The rice is the BEST Mexican rice I've ever had. The staff are super friendly. The salsa and chips are delicious. It's now my favorite Mexican restaurant in Port Orchard. I am so glad they opened one here so I don't have to drive all the way to Gig Harbor to taste this wonderful food. They also make great drinks here! They have a nice bar and Happy Hour too. The BEST thing is that they have a GREAT lunch menu - even on Saturday and Sunday!

This is was family's favorite Mexican restaurant until last night. We waited what seemed like forever for our food which was mixed up and cold. To fix one meal they simply slid the side of the plate and left the grease. A drink had to be returned too. And quesadilla was so cold the cheese wasn't melted but no refund! And a tamale had to be brought out later because it was forgotten.

This is the best Mexican restaurant in town. The family that owns the business are so kind, and the food is great. They are always happy to do special orders for me because I have allergies and food restrictions. :)

I have eaten here twice. The first time it was awful...I ordered Fajitas and a luke warm congealed mess with chewy beef was sitting on the plate. My friend got the Chorizo and Huevos Rancheros...his was not hot either and after four bites he was done. I figured since it was pretty early in the day and everyone had spoken pretty highly of it so I thought we would try it again...fast forward three or four months later...the exact same thing happened only this time it took a good twenty minutes for our food to arrive and it was cold again...just not a good meal.

This is hands down a great Mexican restaurant. the one thing I loved, was that when we came in and sat down, we were served chips, beans, salsa, and this fresh Mexican cabbage type dip. I've normally always been served just plain Jane chips and salsa. I could tell everything was fresh. Food was delicious. My review went down a star because they serve frozen fries though and not fresh. Aside from that, our server was SO nice and helpful. Will definitely be going back.

Well, to start with there is a parking lot so parking is no problem. The atmosphere was okay. The service was fast and friendly. The prices are a little pricey at $7-$8 for lunch and $14 for dinner. I think the food is bland, and that there are better tasting Mexican food in Port Orchard.

Have been here several times. Clean place, friendly staff. Food is pretty good. I had steak fajitas. Chips and salsa are amazing. The margaritas are good and strong. Definitely recommend. One of the best Mexican places in our area.

You can't beat their lunch prices, $6.99 for two tacos, rice and beans. Full service, chips and salsa. Adan is very nice, excellent service! I think their chicken is the best I've had. Try the chicken flautas with a side of guac.

I orderd the mole chicken and it was awful. Mole is supposed to be made with chocolate and they used peanut butter, It was inedible. My fiance could not eat his pork tacos were mushy tasteless cubed dried pork. the only thing we enjoyed was their chips and salsa. they also do not have a munch menu on the weekends..i am not from around but I am pretty sure people eat lunch 7 days a week. we were also not told that the buffet is closing while we were inquiring about it. We will not be back. If they offered a refund back to me maybe I would have tried again but they didnt. I just had to throw my entire dinner in the trash.owell

This is the sister restaurant to the one in Gig Harbor. The food is better than the average Mexican food that is found in this area and the service is top notch. It is hidden away in a strip mall by the liquor store but it has quickly become our favorite Mexican restaurant in Port Orchard.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
